City of La Salle's Celebration of Lights

Sun, Nov 09 – Thu, Jan 01, 2026 • 5:00pm - 9:00pm

2837 E 5th Rd, LaSalle, IL 61301

Join us at Rotary Park as we flip the switch on one of the biggest and brightest winter light displays in North Central Illinois!

La Salle lights the night sky with holiday spirit each winter with the annual Celebration of Lights, located off Interstate 39 at Rotary Park. This multi-mile drive-through light show features over 400 unique displays, totaling to thousands of individual lights! The event attracts more than 20,000 cars per year, making La Salle one of the best winter destinations in the area.

The Celebration of Lights takes place from 5:00pm - 9:00pm every night through January 1, 2026. There is no ticket price for the event. However, donations are welcome to help make the display better than ever for future years!

Bring your friends, family, and pets to experience the magic! Every car receives complimentary candy canes upon arrival. For your furry friends, special treats will also be provided. Tune in to our Christmas radio station as you drive through and feel the holiday spirit.

Back by popular demand this year are carriage rides through the park, perfect for families, friends, or a romantic night out. Register here for the 2025 season.

Trust us, you won’t want to miss this! For updates, follow Live It Up La Salle and Celebration of Lights on social media or call (815) 223-3755.
