Since first opening the doors in 1876, the Joliet Public Library has offered many resources to the citizens of Joliet.
Come visit both of the Joliet Public Library locations. They bring together resources, services, and expertise to help inspire Joliet’s residents of all ages to read, explore, ask and discover with library kits. Check out their digital media studio where you can record sounds/music, do a photoshoot, digitize tunes and movies, print larger banners or posters, create 3D models, and restore old photos to bring them back to life.
Not only are they filled with useful resources, but they are known for their "Star Wars Day" event which takes place during the summer. They bring in around 10,000 people to come out and enjoy featured authors, artist, vendors and members of fandom organization from all over the United States to help pull off the biggest Star Wars library event in the world!
