Nature and art connect at Dixon’s The Next Picture Show
Experience the beauty of nature through the eyes of regional artists at The Next Picture Show in Dixon. The Nature in Nachusa Art Exhibition runs from September 17 through October 18, 2025, highlighting artwork inspired by the stunning landscapes and wildlife of the Nachusa Grasslands.
Visitors are invited to the opening reception and artist award ceremony on Friday, September 19, from 6–8 p.m., where they can meet the artists, enjoy refreshments, and celebrate the creative spirit of Northwest Illinois.
This exhibition offers a unique opportunity to connect art and nature in one of Dixon’s most welcoming gallery spaces.
Gallery Hours: Wednesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
