Windy City Soaring Association is a non-profit organization (club) dedicated to the promotion and enjoyment of soaring (flying sailplanes aka gliders). Based at Hinckley Airport (0C2) in the friendly village of Hinckley.
Windy City Soaring Association, based at Hinckley Airport west of Aurora, offers thrilling glider (sailplane) rides and flight training in a welcoming, club atmosphere. Experience silent, engine-free flight with panoramic views as you soar up to 4,000 feet with a certified pilot. Introductory flights are available weekends April through November, making it easy for aviation enthusiasts and curious first-timers alike to discover the joy of soaring.
