Mexican Independence Day Celebration

The heart of West Chicago will host a cultural celebration featuring a variety of performances and activities in honor of Mexican Independence.

The event will include a traditional ceremony of El Grito de Dolores, folkloric dance performances showcasing regional costumes and music, and live music by groups such as Retorno Musical and Mexican rock band Los Corbs. Additional attractions include a large piñata, traditional food vendors, artisan booths, and family-friendly activities. The event is organized by Despertar Latino and is designed to bring the community together in celebration of Mexican heritage.
