Open all year, Riverfront Park is home to the 4,000 seat Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater that hosts live concerts and performances, festivals, fairs, outdoor movie events, and more.
Riverfront Park is walking distance from downtown Alton restaurants and shopping by crossing a footbridge over Landmarks Boulevard.
The Alton Bike Trail through Riverfront Park connects to the Madison County Transit Trail System including one that traverses the Great River Road and another that leads to Granite City and the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge.
The park includes a summer splash pad for kids and the Alton Marina, a docking location for passing riverboat cruises and the home of the Alton Catfish Classic.
Participants and fans can try their luck just a few hundred feet away at Argosy Casino Alton featuring over 1,000 slots, table games, and sportsbook.
