Louie’s P&R has been a fixture in Southern Illinois since opening its doors in the late 1890’s. Originally established as D&R Market, it was renamed P&R in 1950 and when purchased by Louie Gualdoni and his family seven years later it became Louie’s P&R. The Gualdoni family owned Louie’s for 62 years. In 2019 the current owners, the Christs, purchased the market.
